Pamela Rangel

Associate Attorney

Pam’s practice focuses on navigating clients through complex immigration issues and includes the filing of all nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applications. Pam also has extensive experience with family-based immigration, naturalization, obtaining J-1 waivers, cap exempt H-1B visas, physician national interest waivers, and permanent residency applications in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories for physicians and nurses.

Pam’s clients range from individual clients to small companies to multinational corporations across various sectors including information technology, financial services, and insurance. In her practice, she has built up a specialty working with and managing the immigration programs for large corporate clients and works closely with her clients to help assess immediate legal needs. Pam also advises companies regarding employee hiring and I-9 compliance, immigration policy, and government inspections.

She has used a variety of immigration tools to help clients achieve their goals. Examples include:

  • Filed a successful I-192 waiver of inadmissibility for a brilliant cancer researcher to continue his groundbreaking work on immunotherapies and molecular targeted strategies to treat leukemia and solid tumors.
  • Filed a successful EB-1B Outstanding Researcher petition for a Computational Biologist to continue his groundbreaking work to help treat Parkinson’s disease.

Pam earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her law degree from DePaul University College of Law. She is fluent in Spanish.
