Stephanie is a Managing Attorney, she has represented companies in immigration matters for over 10 years. Stephanie works with companies in all employment-based immigration categories. She has particular expertise in pursuing L-1 intracompany transfers and O-1 extraordinary ability visas.

Stephanie has advised clients in a variety of industries, including: technology consulting, healthcare, gaming, industrial machinery, higher education, SaaS products, and engineering. She specializes in scaling immigration programs for high-growth, ventured-backed clients.

As a returned Peace Corps volunteer in Armenia, she relates to the struggles of being far from home in a new location and tries to make all clients feel comfortable with the stress of immigration processes.

She has submitted successful petitions for actors, medical researchers, entrepreneurs, data scientists among others. Some of her notable successes include:

• Filed a successful O-1 petition for an actor/director starting a production company
• Filed a successful O-1 petition for a data scientist working with machine learning and artificial intelligence detecting fraud patterns
• Filed a successful EB-1A I-140 petition for an entrepreneur in the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology industry

At Meltzer Hellrung, Stephanie leads the firm’s training program. She is responsible for training new paralegals and ensuring our entire paralegal team continues to stay up-to-date on evolving legal issues. Stephanie also oversees the firm’s blog, keeping our clients abreast of new legal issues and changes in immigration policy.

Stephanie earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University and her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
